Our Purpose
The Exmouth Eagles Football Club prides itself on its strong sense of community, providing clear pathways for every footballer to participate, develop and succeed, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all.
About the Exmouth Eagles Football Club
The Exmouth Eagles Football Club Inc., proudly known as the Eagles, is based at the Exmouth Recreation Centre in the heart of Exmouth, Western Australia. Since its establishment in 1993, the club has grown into a thriving and important part of the local sporting and social community.
Over the years, the Eagles have experienced significant growth through the expansion of junior football, the success of the EGALS Women’s Team, the continued strength of the Senior Men’s Team, and a popular Masters competition. Today, the club provides opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to participate in Australian Rules Football.
More than just a football club, the Eagles have become a cornerstone of the Exmouth community — fostering a passion for football, developing local talent, and bringing people together through the game.
A True Community Club
The Exmouth Eagles pride themselves on being a traditional country football club, drawing players, supporters, volunteers, and families from across the Exmouth community.
The club’s structure has recently been unified under one governance model, creating a stronger “One Club” environment that supports all levels of football. The Eagles now offer pathways for players from their very first introduction to the game through to senior competition.
The club provides football opportunities across multiple levels, including:
- Auskick and early introduction programs for children aged 3–8
- Junior and Colts competitions for players aged 8–17
- Senior Men’s team competing in the Gascoyne Football Association
- EGALS Women’s Team, leading the way in women’s football in the northern part of Western Australia
- Masters football, providing opportunities for players to stay involved in the game
This structure ensures the club offers inclusive football opportunities for all ages, genders, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Supporting the Exmouth Community
The Exmouth Eagles recognise the important role they play in the local community, particularly in a town with a young and highly transient population.
Beyond football, the club actively contributes to the community in a number of ways, including:
- Providing two club buses that are available for use by other sporting clubs and community groups.
- Coordinating a recycling initiative where funds raised can be donated to sporting clubs and community organisations across Exmouth.
Through these initiatives, the Eagles continue to strengthen connections within the community and support other local groups.

Over the coming years, the Exmouth Eagles Football Club aims to further strengthen its One Club culture, ensuring players of all ages have opportunities to play, develop, and improve their football.
The club’s strength lies in its people — its players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters. The Eagles remain committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment that recognises and values the many volunteers who contribute both on and off the field.
